Master Of Science In Biotechnology And Master of Business Administration Dual Degree (71 units)

Admission Requirements

• Applicants must have a BS/BA degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or a Business and Economics related discipline. Applicants with a BS/BA degree in any field and equivalent work experience in one of the above fields may be admitted and must fulfill the foundation courses requirements before taking the core courses and electives in the dual degree program.
• Applicants seeking admission to the dual degree program must be officially admitted into CSUCI as a graduate student.
• Applicants must declare themselves as graduate students in the dual degree program on the program application (on the online University application students must apply separately for each degree).
• Applicants will be evaluated by the program admissions committee which will consider applicants in the context of the total applicant pool using general admission standards. The following materials are required for the evaluation and admission process.
  1. Applicants must submit one copy of their transcript from every university attended and the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) test score.
  2. Applicants who have received their undergraduate degrees from a university where English is not the language of instruction or have studied fewer than two years at a university where instruction is in English must submit their Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score.
  3. A one page "Statement of Purpose" from the applicant and two letters of recommendations from people able to judge the applicant's capacity for both academic and professional success must be submitted.
